Scripture:
“You created every part of me; you put me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because you are to be feared; all you do is strange and wonderful. I know it with all my heart. When my bones were being formed, carefully put together in my mother’s womb, when I was growing there in secret, you knew that I was there.”
— Psalm 139:13-15
Reflection:
Everything has a Genesis (beginning), and while no man can see the intricate process of formation, God knows how our bones and bodies are put together. The Psalmist beautifully praises God, recognizing His power in creating every part of us.
God, in His might, crafts each individual, taking care of us in the womb. He is aware of the pains we carry and is ready to heal, restore, and crown us with His glory.
The prophet Jeremiah reveals that God knew us before we were formed in our mother’s womb and has a plan for us to prosper, rejoice, enlarge, and promote us, granting us everlasting life.
Today is the day the Lord has made for us to rejoice, knowing He formed us and has a wonderful plan for our lives.
Prayer:
Father God, we sing praise to Your name today, acknowledging that we are the fruit of Your creation. You make everything beautiful, and we are precious in Your sight—that is what truly matters.
In Jesus Christ’s mighty name,
Amen.
