Reflection:
The Word of God serves as a lamp to the feet of every believer and a light to our path. Life is a journey, and from the moment of our birth until our final breath, we have Christ Jesus—the author and finisher of our faith—always ready to lead us. He is not only the way to the Father but also the light that illuminates our journey towards eternity with Him.
In our world, we face significant darkness: hunger, depression, diseases, shame, failure, rejection, and infirmities surround us. Yet, it is only through the Word of God—our daily bread—that we can find wisdom and understanding. The Holy Spirit grants us revelations that guide us through life’s trials.
I encourage us to trust in God wholeheartedly, loving, meditating on, and putting His Word into practice. We must avoid leaning on our own understanding, for only Christ knows the way. His light prevents us from perishing and grants us eternal life.
Prayer:
Father, help us remember that Your Word is true and amen 🙏. Christ Jesus, the Word that became flesh, is amongst us, guiding, rebuking, and comforting us in this dark world. We pray for wisdom, understanding, and revelation of who You are. In Jesus Christ’s mighty name, we pray. Amen. 🙏
