Scripture:
“I know that your goodness and love will be with me all my life; and your house will be my home as long as I live.”
— Psalm 23:6
Reflection:
The story of the Shepherd and the sheep reminds us that Christ Jesus, our Shepherd, will always take us home, where goodness, mercy, love, peace, joy, restoration, healing, prosperity, and all the good things we desire dwell.
Faithfulness is what He waits for from us as we dwell in His house (His presence) for the rest of our lives. As we celebrate our Sunday, let’s remember that goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives, and the secret is to dwell in His house, for there is abundant life.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, we are the sheep of Your pasture. We pray that You keep us faithful to You so that we can flourish in Your presence.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
