Scripture:
“If the Lord does not build the house, the work of the builders is useless; if the Lord does not protect the city, it does no good for the sentries to stand guard.”
— Psalm 127:1
Reflection:
The Psalmist reveals a profound truth about life: our lives are projects with both beginnings and ends. As believers, we are reminded that everything we build or do, no matter how small, should be associated with God. The Bible refers to Christ Jesus as the architect and consummator of our faith. He always finishes what He starts and protects His own like the apple of His eye, strengthening those who watch over us.
As we go about today and throughout the week, let us remember to involve God in all our endeavors—be it in our careers, marriages, work, ministry, financial prosperity, or health.
Prayer:
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we submit to Your authority, letting You take the lead. Without You, we fail; without You, we perish. Grant us the grace to always involve You in our endeavors.
In Jesus Christ’s mighty name, we pray.
Amen.
