Scripture:
“And so I am sure that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day of Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 1:6
Reflection:
We are God’s projects, and we are reminded that Christ Jesus is the architect and finisher of our faith. Paul, in his letter, expresses confidence in the completed work of God, which He demonstrated through the resurrection of Christ. Just as God glorified Christ, He will also fulfill His promises for us on earth as it is in heaven.
As we face the day, we may encounter various challenges—spiritual, financial, emotional, and physical projects that require completion. However, we stand firm in the knowledge that God will accomplish what He has started in us until the return of our Lord Jesus.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for the grace to trust in Your power. You are not a man nor the son of man; Your promises are true and amen. We lay our burdens and worries at Your feet, trusting You to accomplish what You started in us and with us.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
Amen.
